Thesis: Design Healing Interventions—Addressing Trauma Through Occupied Space, Traditions, and Objects.
I analyzed survivor testimonies to understand trauma and the aftermath of sexual assault, then mapped the medical, legal, and advocacy systems survivors must navigate. Through interviews and surveys with medical professionals, advocates from RAINN and NCTSN, policy experts, and therapists, I gathered insights on systemic gaps. The work culminated in co-design sessions with survivors, using creative arts and storytelling to envision pathways toward self-initiated healing.
